CareNest was built for families who are trying to care for an aging parent or loved one while keeping everyone informed, organized, and on the same page.

Family caregiving can become overwhelming quickly. Important details end up scattered across text messages, phone calls, screenshots, sticky notes, calendars, and one person’s memory. Often, one person quietly becomes the default caregiver — the one who knows the medications, the appointments, the doctors, the updates, the expenses, and the questions everyone else keeps asking.

CareNest was created to make that feel a little less chaotic.

Why I built CareNest

Hi, I’m Paolo, the creator of CareNest.

The idea for CareNest came from my own family’s experience — the frustration, stress, and anxiety that can build when everyone is trying to care for aging parents, but the information is scattered everywhere.

CareNest is not meant to make caregiving perfect. It is meant to give families one simple shared place to organize the details that matter: medications, appointments, care notes, expenses, emergency contacts, and family updates.

My hope is that CareNest helps families feel a little more coordinated, a little less overwhelmed, and a lot more on the same page.

What CareNest is

CareNest is a family caregiving organization kit. It includes a structured care record, a mobile-friendly family dashboard, a START HERE setup video, a setup guide, email notification support, and practical tools to help families coordinate care.

It is designed for adult children, relatives, and family caregivers who are helping care for an aging parent or loved one.

CareNest is not a medical device, healthcare provider platform, emergency monitoring system, or professional care management service. It is a practical organization tool for families.
